About Us

Our Mission

Powered by a community of experienced and talented PR practitioners, our promise is to deliver high value public relations services to companies while placing equal focus on the advancement of women in the communications industry. WeRaise will redefine what a “best workplace for moms” means by creating a sustainable work environment for women that prioritizes life-work integration. Together, with a seasoned roster of PR professionals and like-minded clients, we will change what it means to be a mother in the PR industry.

Founded by Rebecca Honeyman and Greg Mondshein of award-winning technology PR agency SourceCode Communications, with Moon Vitiello as its managing director, COVID-19 and ensuing she-cession ignited a sense of profound responsibility in us to turn adversity into opportunity. The pandemic amplified the bias that existed in our industry against working mothers. Throughout our careers, we witnessed decades of brilliant PR professionals and primary caregivers exit the industry when ‘balancing’ work and home lives created conflict and burnout. WeRaise PR was founded to support an empathy-first working culture that enables women to thrive without compromise, to excel professionally without compromising personal priorities, by offering bespoke engagements that allow our team to do its best work for clients.

By blending experience, flexibility and unparalleled focus, together we’ll raise brand reputations, executive visibility, families, communities and each other. Together…WeRaise.

Moon Vitiello

Managing Director

Having maintained valuable and longstanding relationships with her clients and the media, Moon takes a proactive approach in guiding the strategic direction of campaigns and programs, bringing to each her vision, leadership, integrity, and commitment to excellence. Over the course of her career, she has been instrumental in publicizing some of the most prestigious consumer and B2B brands. Previous to her role as Managing Director, Moon climbed many ladders in public relations before eventually co-founding her own PR firm in 2014. Outside of WeRaise, you can find her teaching her 3 year old son the rules of Zoom meeting etiquette, binge-watching Netflix with her husband, and constantly cleaning dog hair off her furniture.

The best piece of advice my mom ever gave me was:
Most things are not as bad as you think they are.

Rebecca Honeyman

Co-Founder & Managing Partner of SourceCode Communications

With a passion for brand narrative development and strategic messaging, Rebecca brings a global perspective to technology and communications that’s second to none. She has created award-winning B2B, consumer, and corporate campaigns for businesses across the world. Rebecca is a member of the PR Council’s Board of Directors. A graduate of Oxford, she has lived in multiple countries and speaks four languages. Away from her desk, Becky can often be found desperately seeking fashion or new music guidance from her much cooler teenage stepsons or indulging her Orangetheory habit.

The best piece of advice my mom ever gave me was:
Remember that there is no one in this world better than me, but to never forget that I am no better than them either.

Greg Mondshein

Known for his no ego, no excuses approach, Greg has an unparalleled ability to build trusted relationships with clients and teams. The best piece of advice my mom ever gave me was:
Don’t be an idiot.

Sara Ajemian

Vice President, Insights Engagement at SourceCode Communications and Advisor for WeRaise

Inquisitive by nature, Sara has crafted a career around the word “why” and brings a natural curiosity to her approach to communications. It’s no wonder she can frequently be found with her nose in a puzzle book. For 15 years, she has helped companies both large and small discover the missing link in their narratives, build their brands, and make their voices heard. She excels at working with businesses that use data and technology to better understand, and connect with, people.

The best piece of advice my mom ever gave me was:
Believe that you are enough, and that no matter where your journey takes you I will always be proud of you.

Employment Tiers

We get it. Combining a 40 hour working week with full-time parenting is an impossible ask. That’s why we founded WeRaise. We’ve built options to join our team which allow you to excel on your terms, flexing up or down as your home priorities allow. And our promise isn’t just a tagline. We’ve built transparency around benefits and compensation.

First Stepper

Under 15 hours per week with flexible working hours, this option is perfect for those returning to work and taking baby steps.

Junior

A 15-25 hours per week, commitment comes with a flexible work schedule and childcare stipend for a little more client-facing and a little less child-rearing.

Senior

Between 25-35 hours per week will earn multiple benefits including childcare stipend, 15 days (plus national) paid PTO, multiple health insurance options and gym membership discounts.

Graduate

Our full-time ‘graduates’ benefit from childcare stipends, health insurance options, unlimited PTO and 401K eligibility. And, should a new little project arrive, we offer six months of paid parental leave.
